Dorislee Gilbert is the Executive Director of The Mary Byron Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing justice to end intimate partner violence. An experienced attorney, Dorislee served Louisville crime victims for 15 years as a felony prosecutor in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. She has interacted with, conferred with, and assisted hundreds of victims of crime during her career. Having stood alongside so many crime victims and understanding the current imbalance in the criminal justice system, Dorislee has been a strong supporter of meaningful and enforceable victims' rights through Marsy's Law for Kentucky.
