Westerfield files Marsy's Law again

Sen. Whitney Westerfield is trying again to get Marsy's Law passed in Kentucky as a constitutional amendment.

Filed as Senate Bill 15 on Thursday, this version of the "crime victim's bill of rights" is similar to the bill Westerfield filed in 2018. The bill gives notice of the defendant's release and allows victims to testify at all hearings pending release.
